TIN Registration
As per the circulars issued by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), with effect from 01st January 2024, it is mandatory for all residents above 18 years of age to obtain a Tax Identification Number (TIN).
Furthermore, a valid TIN will be required for the following purposes:

Submitting a self-declaration to banks to avoid Withholding Tax (WHT) deductions, effective from 01st April 2025
