Mr.Viraj Henegedera
Viraj Henegedera is a Fellow member of CA Sri Lanka, Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka and Chartered Tax Advisor of CA Sri Lanka. Further, he is the founder of taxadvisor.lk and Certifed Tax Technician (CTT) programme in Sri Lanka. He completed his degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Kelaniya and served as a visiting lecturer in the same University in the year 2010.
He served for a leading group company in Sri Lanka more than seven years and was engaged in various positions which included Tax planning, Finance, Benchmarking (market analysis), Strategic planning, process streamlining, Budgetary controls, Finance operations, etc. Further, he served as a Manager for a leading international audit firm in Sri Lanka and engaged in Tax advising, Tax planning, Overlooking Accounting assignments, Diagnostic Review services, Fraud investigation Services, Auditing, Business Consultancy, HR Consultancy, liaising with Statutory Organizations such as Inland Revenue Department, Central Bank, Board of Investment (BOI), etc. and company secretarial work such as the formation of companies, Annual compliances, liquidating companies.
He has been appointed as the Tax Consultant by various private and public companies in Sri Lanka.Further he is contributing as a visiting lecturer for University of Peradeniya and Kelaniya.
In addition to his professional career, he is the author of many English and Sinhalese books on Businesses ,Mathematics etc.
Mr.Prasad Dasanayaka
Mr. Prasad Dasanayaka (ACA, ACMA), a consultant in Tax Advisor, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka as well as the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, having more than fifteen (15) years of experience in Tax & Regulatory Advisory Services of clients from various industries including Banking and Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, Hotels, Health Care, Tourism, Infrastructure Development, Information Technology, Trading, Plantations, Money Market, Capital Market, Construction, etc.
He is actively working with the Department of Inland Revenue to obtain clients the up-to-date tax revisions and information. He has been lecturing on taxation in reputed institutions and a public speaker on taxation. He is the author of Quick Guide For Income Tax Computation (ISBN: 978-624-95592-0-2) and is well conversant in Tax Law and Regulations of Sri Lanka including knowledge in international taxation.
