A highly experienced Finance, Accounting and Tax Professional with over 40 years of professional experience covering finance, accounting, banking, financial analysis, information technology, project control and management consultancy in Sri Lanka and overseas.
I am a Certified Tax Technician, qualified through the Tax Advisor.lk – Sri Lanka, with a particular focus on providing practical tax consultancy and compliance support to individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs and businesses.
My professional career includes approximately 25 years with Leading Development Bank, Sri Lanka, where I served as Manager – Finance / IT Executive, with responsibilities covering financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, accounts and reconciliations, financial procedures and taxation compliance. I subsequently gained international experience as a Financial Analyst and Project Controller in Saudi Arabia and Financial Analyst for a USA-based organization.
Since 2017, I have been serving as a Group Consultant – Finance at Pee Bee Group, providing management with financial advice, financial analysis, investment and risk assessment, financial projections, reporting and support for strategic financial decisions.
My academic and professional background includes studies at the University of Colombo in Network and Computer Hardware Engineering, a Diploma in Computer Design and Systems from NIBM, qualifications from the Institute of Bookkeepers – London and Institute of Accounting Technicians – London, together with partly completed professional studies with ICA Sri Lanka and ICMA London.
